Today, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) joined Senators Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Senate Finance Chairman Ron Wyden (D-OR), Senate Finance Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-ID), and Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) in introducing the Patients Before Middlemen (PBM) Act to delink the compensation of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) from drug price and utilization in order to better align incentives that will help lower prescription drugs costs for Medicare Part D beneficiaries.
